Horizon Campus declared open two of the 8 Regional Study Centres of their country wide branch network to provide Diploma and Degree programs & qualifications to a wide range of student population who live outside Colombo city. Students will now have the luxury of completing some of their accredited Degree programs by studying closer to their homes.
Horizon Campus in Kalutara Regional Centre was declared open by the Horizon Group Chairman, Mr. Upul Daranagama and the Kalutara Regional Director, Dr. Mudith Mewan on Thursday 20th July 2017 & the Kandy Regional Centre was opened on Friday 21st July 2017 by Horizon Group Chairman, Mr. Upul Daranagama with the Kandy Regional Director, Dr. Maheshini Mawalagedara.
The other 6 Regional Centres of Horizon Campus was established in Matara, Kurunegala, Badulla, Anuradhapura, Ratnapura and Negombo during the months of July and August 2017. The special feature of their philosophy of education is to inculcate a sense of innovation and inspiration to achieve success and to educate students to improve their skills to be useful and productive citizens contributing to national interests while being ethical. They, at Horizon Campus HCBT pledge to provide with utmost integrity and commitment to achieve these ends.
The Horizon Campus offering two courses under the faculty of management. They are,
1. Bachelor of Science in Business Management (Human Resource)
2.Management)and Bachelor of Management (Marketing)
The BEd programme has been improved to prepare competent, committed & dedicated teachers who are highly needed for both public and private industry schools in Sri Lanka. The programme which is recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Sri Lanka and provided by the Horizon Campus consists of professional and general components along with field practicum.
